Therapy can be an effective tool to resolve personal and relationship problems, achieve life goals and adjust to changes such as job loss or illness. By using a caring, results-oriented approach, couples and individuals are able to clarify and understand frustrating problems that interfere with happiness. I assist clients by helping them gain insight into complex problems. They find solutions and gain clarity on options. I motivate clients to move forward, offering an objective, professional perspective.
My personality is reflected in my individual style as a therapist. As a client, you will find that I am down-to-earth, experienced, creative, friendly, non-judgmental, enthusiastic and focused on making the therapy experience as effective as possible for each client. I realize that most clients want to feel better as soon as possible and get the most results for their time and money. I listen to my clients, helping them make significant changes in their life.
I hold a Masters degree from Oakland University and a Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. I have been married for over 30 years and have two children. Previously, I was a national level competitive ice dancer.
